Is stainless steel good for meal prep?

Yes. The inside is uncoated 18/8 (304) steel. It does not stain or hold smells, and every part goes in the dishwasher. Independently tested for lead under the US CPSIA. The report is on our certificates page, free to download.

Can I prep warm meals for work?

Yes, in the insulated food jar: 14 hours hot, 19 hours cold. Rinse it hot, fill it to the top, keep it closed. That is what holds the 14 hours. No preheating, no office microwave needed.

No. The box is not insulated. Warm lunch is the food jar’s job. For oven use, take the lid and seal off first.

Love these containers!

We have been using the lunchbox containers for about a month and love them. We use them as takeout containers when eating at restaurants. When we cook at home, we put leftovers in glass containers, but these lightweight (yet durable!) containers are perfect for carrying around. I take out the ring in each lid and wash that by hand, but the containers go into the dishwasher. We highly recommend these!
