How do I keep it from getting lost at daycare?

Put the name on it. The engraving is cut into the steel: no sticker to peel, no marker to fade. Twenty bags on the same hook, and only one has her name on it.

Can small hands open the box?

Yes. The latch works without help. Easy to latch for small hands, as parents put it in their reviews. No tools, no tricks.

Is it tested for lead?

Independently tested for lead under the US CPSIA, and we retest every year. The current report is on our certificates page. Free to download, no form. That covers everything on this page.

What size fits a preschool bag?

The 27 oz lunch box, 6.69 × 4.72 × 2.36 in, and the 17 oz bottle. Both disappear into a small backpack. The size is stamped on the base.

Can a warm lunch go along?

Yes, in the insulated food jar: 14 hours hot. Rinse it hot, fill it to the top, keep it closed. That is what holds the 14 hours. No preheating, no microwave at daycare.

Can I return an engraved item?

Engraved items cannot be returned. Take a moment with the preview and check the spelling. Everything else has 60 days.

Love these containers!

We have been using the lunchbox containers for about a month and love them. We use them as takeout containers when eating at restaurants. When we cook at home, we put leftovers in glass containers, but these lightweight (yet durable!) containers are perfect for carrying around. I take out the ring in each lid and wash that by hand, but the containers go into the dishwasher. We highly recommend these!
