What size lunch box does a school kid need?

The 27 oz box holds an elementary school lunch: sandwich, fruit, a snack. It measures 6.69 × 4.72 × 2.36 in, so it fits a small backpack. Bigger appetites and middle schoolers take the 40 oz. The size is stamped on the base.

Can I put my child’s name on it?

Yes, laser engraved in our own facility in CA. Order by 1 PM PT and we engrave it the same day. Two fonts; four positions on the lunch box, one fixed position on bottle and food jar. Engraved items cannot be returned, so take a moment with the preview.

Is it tested for lead?

Independently tested for lead under the US CPSIA, and we retest every year. The current report is on our certificates page. Free to download, no form. That covers everything on this page.

Will it survive the school year?

Steel dents instead of shattering. The latch is easy to work for small hands. When a seal wears out, you buy a seal. Not a new box. Three years of warranty on top.

Does a hot lunch make it to lunchtime?

Yes, in the insulated food jar: 14 hours hot, 19 hours cold. Rinse it hot, fill it to the top and keep it closed. That is what holds the 14 hours. No preheating, no microwave at school.

Love these containers!

We have been using the lunchbox containers for about a month and love them. We use them as takeout containers when eating at restaurants. When we cook at home, we put leftovers in glass containers, but these lightweight (yet durable!) containers are perfect for carrying around. I take out the ring in each lid and wash that by hand, but the containers go into the dishwasher. We highly recommend these!
