How do your two water bottles differ?
Mostly in shape. This one is slimmer and fits standard bicycle holders and daypacks. The Vacuum Insulated bottle is wider, with a wood detail and a carabiner loop. Both hold 25 hours cold and 13 hours hot.

Does the thermal coating touch my drink?
No. The copper layer sits on the outer wall of the inner body. Your drink touches nothing but uncoated 18/8 stainless steel.

Is the lid plastic?
The screw lid is recycled plastic, and deliberately so. It has to seal, grip and survive being dropped. The bottle body and the threads are steel.

Are Blockhütte water bottles leak-proof?
Yes, carbonated drinks included. The seal holds the bottle lying down in a bag. If a well-used bottle starts to weep, a fresh seal fixes it.

How long do drinks stay cold or hot?
25 hours cold and 13 hours hot, with no preheating.

Can I use the bottle for sparkling water or soda?
Yes. The bottles are pressure-resistant and safe for carbonated drinks.

Is the bottle dishwasher safe?

Can I have it engraved?
Yes, on five of our products. The lunch box, both water bottles, the food jar and the travel mug. Express Engraving: order by 1 PM PT and we engrave it the same day. It happens in our own facility in CA. Engraved items cannot be returned, so check the spelling first.
