Frequently asked questions

Which food jar spare parts can I buy?

Seven in total. Screw cap, outer lid, seal set, anti-vacuum plug, spork, brush and carry bag.

Do I need to know my jar size?

For five of the seven, yes. Seal set, plug, spork, brush and bag come in 18 oz, 24 oz and 34 oz. The screw cap and the outer lid fit all three. The size is stamped on the base.

The lid has become hard to open. What is wrong?

The anti-vacuum plug is usually missing or misseated. Hot food cools, the air inside contracts, and the lid seals itself shut. The plug lets that pressure equalize.

My jar no longer holds heat for 14 hours. Why?

Check the seal first. A tired seal lets warm air escape past the cap. Then check the handling: rinse it hot, fill it to the top, keep it closed.

Is a broken part covered?

Within the 3-year warranty a defective part is replaced free. Normal wear on the silicone seal is not a defect.
